15. Fix dripping taps
We all have at least one tap in our home that continually drips. Maybe it’s in our bedroom, our bathroom or maybe it’s the tap outside in the garden?
Wherever it is, there’s no denying that dripping taps are annoying things. However, despite the fact that they irritate us, they’re also the one thing that we’re unlikely to get fixed. We tend to let dripping taps continue their drip-dropping ways because we can’t afford the expense of getting them fixed.
Did you know, however, that dripping taps could increase your water bills (especially if your dripping tap is a hot water one)?
Leaky faucets not only increase your bills, but they can also increase the gas or electricity needed to use for heating the wasted water if your dripping tap is a hot water one.
The last thing you want is to waste electricity and money, so why not make it a point to check your taps and get the leaky/dripping ones fixed as soon as possible? This could end up saving you an absolute fortune in the long run.
