TV Bosses Axe Xtra Factor Presenter In Shock Shake-Up Of The Show

Along with the surprise appointment of new judges on the X-Factor it seems that the Xtra Factor will also go through a massive shake-up in the next few weeks. According to the Irish Mirror, co-host Matt Richardson has been axed from the show by Simon Cowell. On top of that, it seems that even Caroline Flack may not be safe for the new show. Rumour has it that even though she has hosted the series for the last three years, Flack is still only in the running for the job and has not been confirmed as of yet. A source close to X Factor told the Mirror: "There will just be the one presenter this year and it will be a woman. The show will change and so the male job will go. It's about the girls this year." "The decision hasn't been made about who it will be but we will know shortly." It has been rumoured that Laura Whitmore and DJ Sarah-Jane Crawford are also in the final running for presenting positions.
