An immersive Fifty Shades of Grey experience is coming to London this month

Fans of E.L. James Fifty Shades' novels will be delighted to hear that a 'playroom' experience inspired by the franchise will be coming to London at the end of October. The event, which marks 10 years since Fifty Shades of Grey hit bookshelves, will see the author collaborate with Lovehoney, a sexual wellness brand to inspire and educate fans on the world of bondage. Visitors will be welcome to attend private consultations with sex experts, as they break down all the need to know information regarding the toys and techniques used and referenced to in the novel. The playroom's Eventbrite page claims that experience is "designed to inspire visitors to explore their sexuality and learn how to bring Fifty Shades of play into their world". It continues: "Visitors to the experience will arrive at the Playroom on Bateman Street through an inconspicuous door. Once inside they will be immersed in the world of Fifty Shades of Grey as they listen to some of the books’ most erotic passages being read. "They will then have a private consultation, inspired by the famous ‘contract meeting’ scene, where Lovehoney experts will guide them as they explore how to enjoy the toys and techniques made famous by Anastasia and Christian Grey." On top of that, all visitors will leave their own personalised playbook, which is signed by E.L. James The event is in London for one day only, and kicks off at 10am and runs until 8pm. All attendees must be 18 years of age or older, and visitors will have to produce ID. And, while it's totally free, the appointment slots must be booked in advance.
