Scary Movie was a huge success the first time around because it was one of the first films of its kind (a film that takes the p*ss out of other more successful films) but as with most franchises that refuse to stop when they’re ahead, they slowly fell out of favour with audiences.
Despite that, the makers are back with Scary Movie 5 starring Ashley Tisdale, Lindsay Lohan and a few other familiar faces.
