Headaches, we’ve all had one and so we all know how inconvenient they really are.  

Unfortunately many different factors can bring on a sore head and as much as we try, it can be very difficult to avoid the likely causes.

Here are five of the most common daily causes of a sore head, some of which can be avoided.

Traffic Jams

No matter how much you try to avoid it, traffic proves to be a problem that occurs every day, particularly when you don’t want it to.

Although it does tend to seem like it happens when we’re in a rush, traffic jams are one of the biggest causes for a stress-induced headache. Depending on the distance we would strongly advise to beat the traffic and the stress by cycling or walking to work. The fresh air will help clear your head for the day and help you unwind on the home.

Internet Woes

Here in the Her Towers we heavily rely on the speed of Internet to ensure that our working day goes smoothly. However, there are times when we find ourselves in locations that either a) have no Wi-Fi, which is extremely problematic, or b) the connection is so slow and uploading takes an age…

Internet woes can cause stress that in turn creates a headache for those of us who are in need of a strong connection in order to go about our daily lives.

Queues

This is a universal problem and it causes everyone involved a lot of unnecessary tension.

No one likes standing impatiently in a queue or holding the line when on a phone call. It is a tedious task that at times can cause a tension headache.

For those of you who work in an office environment you will understand when we say that the time spent replying to emails really does begin to add up to a significant amount when you leave it until the end of your working day to sift through them.

Trying to stay on top of work sounds like an easy thing to do but in reality the day can get away from you very easily… Letting your inbox folder fill up causes stress, trust us, we know!

Failing To Prepare… for dinner.

It is a common mistake that we all make but when we’re on the go we forget to eat. It sounds ridiculous but it has happened us all.

Headaches are easily developed from lack of food and nourishment. Don’t make that mistake and always prepare what you’re going to eat the night before. Carry snacks to avoid fasting for long periods of time and keep a bottle of water in your bag at all times.
