Top chef Marco Pierre White has expanded his business by opening his second restaurant in Ireland.
The Marco Pierre White Courtyard Bar & Grill in Donnybrook sees the award-winning chef teaming up with restaurateurs Fitzers Holdings following the success of their restaurant on Dawson Street.
He described the new venture as a “nice sister” to Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill in the city centre.
"If you look at Dublin as a city, the restaurant sector is booming. It's expanding," he said at the opening.
"It gives you insight into the people. They are not depressed. Even though things may be tough, they are enjoying themselves."
"They are working hard and they are enjoying themselves. There's nothing wrong with working hard and playing hard."

"It's not trying to be a Michelin-star restaurant” he said while adding that he hopes that the Donnybrook grill will exudes "affordable glamour."
“It's a neighbourhood restaurant."
Since its opening, the restaurant is said to have enjoyed a busy service.
