Just when you begin to think there’s no hope for the next generation, along comes something like this.
Eight-year-old Lauren McGuinness was in trouble yesterday. The Mayo miss let the dog on the table, and said dog went and ruined the coursework that Lauren’s mother had been slaving over, having forked out a small fortune on the course.
This morning, Sarah woke up to this note, sitting alongside all the money that Lauren had managed to save up for Christmas.
Sarah sent this in to us, saying: “To all who say children get too much at Christmas, I just want to prove that not every child is all about the taking this Christmas!”
Merry Christmas Sarah and Lauren. We’re a little teary-eyed after that. No doubt Santa knows how good you’ve been Lauren, he’ll be on the way to you very soon…
