Is your skin in need of rejuvenating? Or maybe you just fancy some time to yourself to forget about the daily grind?
Whatever the reason, it’s good to have a healthy, but enjoyable, night in from time to time. Before you even think about asking, there is wine and plenty of food involved.
This week we’re opting for a homemade facial along with a delicious but healthy fish dish and a drop of Black Tower wine.
You don’t have to spend a fortune in the beauty salon for a refreshing facial. In fact you can do it from the comfort of your home using a few ingredients from your kitchen cupboards.
Pour out two cups of green tea. While you wait for one to cool, enjoy the other with a magazine or book. Once the cup of remaining tea has gone cold, mix in two teaspoons of sugar and one teaspoon of honey.
Apply this to your face and leave for 10 minutes before rinsing off with warm mater. Alternatively, if you don’t have any green tea, you can mix a spoonful of honey with an egg white and it’ll do the trick.
Now that your face has been treated, it’s time to treat that stomach of yours with a delicious sea bass dish.
Ingredients: Sea bass fillet, baby tomatoes, olives and salad (lettuce, peppers, tomatoes and cucumber with a vinaigrette dressing).
Method: Grill the sea bass until the skin goes crispy and the fillet is white. Once the fish is cooked, grill the tomatoes for a couple of minutes before serving it with the olives and the salad on the side. Season with salt and pepper.
