Tips To Help You Have A Healthy Night In

Rebecca McKnight

Tired of spending lots of money on new clothes? Or maybe you have a few things you don’t wear but can’t bring yourself to throw out.

Whatever the reason, we have a fun way that you can sort out your wardrobe with the help of your friends and a glass of wine in your hand (probably best to keep it away from the clothes though).

This week, for our healthy night in, we’re opting for a clothes swapping party along with some fajitas and a bottle of Black Tower wine.

First thing you will need for your clothes swapping party is a guest list which you can get quite easily by inviting a group of your friends over for the evening.

Tell them to bring five to 10 items of clothing and/or accessories which are in good condition and in season but that they don’t wear.

When everyone has arrived with their clothes, which you can organise, give them a ticket for each piece of clothing they bring. Draw names to determine who gets to pick first and let the fun begin.

Once you and your friends have their new outfits, it’s time to recharge those batteries with some tasty Chicken Fajitas.

Ingredients: Sliced chicken breasts, sliced red and green pepper, finely-chopped onion, salsa, sour cream, grated cheese and lettuce (quantities dependant on size of party).

Method: Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan and add the peppers and onions. Cook until softened before adding the chicken. Cook until golden brown. Add the salsa and cook for a further few minutes.

Serving suggestion: Lay out all the ingredients (tortillas, chicken mix, cheese, sour cream and lettuce) on the table and let people grab what they want. Simple.
