This woman’s incredible timeline of photos will give you serious nostalgia for the 80s

There's nothing like a bit of childhood nostalgia.

Many people are convinced everything was better in their day, reliving the days gone by when telling children stories of their youth. For many 90s kids, growing up was a magical time of Spice Girls, Kenan and Kel and Toy Story, but many will argue that the decade that was the 80s was a much better time. The 80s consisted of Adam Ant, charm bracelets and Paula Abdul, and there are style trends from the 80s that are still visible in today's high street stores.

One woman, by the name of suzepie on Imgur shared an incredible collection of pictures she snapped in the 80s, entitled "Growing up in the Eighties" and what follows is a timeline that will seriously rejog the memories of readers who were born in those special years. Pictured in 1983, this photo shows suzepie dressed in an outfit her mother made, an Annabella Lwin-inspired dress This picture was taken in 1984 where the Imgur user says she is 17 and heading to prom in a vintage dress. This snap, also taken in 1984 is like a total RELIC. Check out the boombox in the background! THAT MULLET THO. The next photo skips along to 1987 where suzepie says she is 20 years old in Brighton, England and wearing a Bolshoi band t-shirt. 1987 was a very stylish year clearly, as 80s fans will remember these glorious silver western belts. Just look at the silver toe caps on the boots too! Amazing. 1988 brings us to 22-year-old suzepie, trying to imitate Johnny Depp in her battered, leather vintage jacket. ROCK ON! 1988 was also the year of the rubber dress, clearly shown in this picture.
