This roommate horror story will make you question who you live with

It will either make you grateful or suspicious

Oh my.

Almost all of us will have to have housemates at some point in our lives. Whether it’s college, your 20s or any other stage in your life, considering the current housing market.

This usually means living with strangers.

While it can be handy to split rent, it can also be stressful as arguments might arise over the way things are done around the house.

But after we heard this roommate story, we’d take the odd argument any day.

One woman named Sarah shared her housemate horror story with Nine.com after she was suspicious of her roommates.

Sarah and her boyfriend noticed some things in their room had been moved around and even found blond hair in her underwear drawer.

The couple began placing a shoe behind their door when they went to work and it was always moved when they came back.

Since this was enough to be concerned about, the pair set up a camera in their room to see if anything strange was happening.

When they watched back they saw that both housemates had been sneaking into their bedroom.

The woman was using Sarah’s make-up and products, which isn’t great but not nearly as disturbing as what their male roommate was doing.

The man was sneaking in and rubbing their toothbrushes against his genitals.

After buying some new toothbrushes, Sarah decided to confront her roommate.

”I just asked nicely if there was anything he wanted to say to us. He said ‘no’…so, I asked again…still nothing… then, I pulled out our new toothbrushes and asked ‘why the f*** do we need these new toothbrushes’. He was bright red — like a tomato — then I just went off. I said we had a video of the whole thing and we knew his girlfriend was using our stuff and said we were going to the police, moving out, telling the landlord and we asked if he had done it before.”

“Then he said — ‘I have a toothbrush obsession’. What the f***.”

Sarah adds that unsurprisingly, the moved out the next day.
