This Picture Of A Dog Flying First Class Has To Be Seen To Be Believed

Twitter user Madeleine posted the below image of a dog being brought on board an American Airlines flight yesterday and it's since gone viral. In an interview with Mashable which was conducted through Twitter direct messages, Madeleine explained how she was at LAX airport when she saw the dog boarding her flight.

It seems the dog flew first class and lay down beside his owner for the duration of the flight without barking or causing any disturbance for other passengers.

Although many airlines only allow animals to travel in the cargo hold, it seems this dog and his owner had special permission to travel together. Mashable don't have any more information as of yet but they will continue "diligently investigating the story until more answers are found". Between the size of the dog's bed and the American Airlines staff huddling around to take a photo, we're just mesmerised by this. What a way to travel!
