Starting school can be an extremely daunting task.

When you're a little'un, it's extremely scary leaving your parents to start school. While many parents relish in the possibility to have the kids out of the house, kids often feel abandoned starting school and bawl their eyes out. We've all been there.

Coming up to the very first day of big school, children can either react to the news in two ways - fight or flight. Shared on Reddit, user xMudxCrab shared an epic photo of two children on their way to their first day at school. The snap capture one little girl, all set with her backpack and smily expression to make new mates, and one little boy, crying on the floor. BLESS. People looking at the photo had a right giggle at the new pupils and shared some of their own horror tales from going to the first day of school. One commenter wrote "I’m that kid on the floor, have been for the last 18 years" while others recalled memories "First day, I turned around from my mum "Bye!" I shouted and ran away.
