Taking just three days to whip up the 140kg each buttercream and sponge masterpieces, Lara told the Express and Star that the cakes were the perfect way to welcome the couple’s families to a post-wedding party in Little Wryley on Saturday.
Speaking to the paper, the award-winning cake designer explained:
"I have made loads of life-size cakes before with Prince George and Jennifer Lawrence being my most recognised.
"Everyone loved the cake. It was quirky and original, just like us really."
Lara first shot to fame earlier this month when she scooped an award for her life-size sugar tribute to Prince George.
The cake statue won her the top prize of best overall cake at the Cake International show at the NEC in Birmingham.
And while we’re not too sure how comfortable we were at the idea of eating a royal baby, we’d definitely draw the line at taking a bite out of our own arm.
We are happy to taste any of her other future creations though…Life
