After a nationwide vote, Mr. Tayto has today announced the addition of two new limited edition flavours to the Tayto offering.
A shout out was made by Mr. Tayto on Facebook, for people to volunteer to become a ‘Tayto Top Secret Taste Tester’, (we were gutted not to be chosen), and over 6,000 people applied to take part. A group of 500 tasters were chosen and sent out a Tayto Tester parcel and when the votes came in, the result was ‘crisp and clear’ according to the company. ??
The two new flavours set to hit the market are ‘Tayto Bacon Melt’ and ‘Tayto Spare Rib’.
To celebrate the new additions, Tayto Park will be hosting ‘Flavours Day’ on the 5th of October, where families can come and enjoy a fun-filled day out and enter a competition to be in with a chance to win €3,000 (T&C apply), an annual pass to Tayto Park, and a plentiful supply of their favourite Tayto crisps.
We’ve gotten our hands on some new packs today (thanks Mr. Tayto) and we approve. But we may need more sampling to be absolutely sure. Much more.
