If you’re trying to do a live report, the last thing you probably want to happen is a merry hen party turning up to crash the broadcast.
Of course, for viewers, this makes for TV gold.
Kudos then to BBC presenter Dan Walker for getting into the spirt of things when his live Olympics report was interrupted by a passing hen party.

The bride, a woman named Maria, then came through to the press pen to be interview by Walker, all while her hen pals cheered her on.
Walker found out that Maria – who is clearly a few glasses/bottles of wine in – is getting married on September 17, and invited her to send a message to her fiancé. She addresses the camera saying: “You are my love, you are my crush.”
Chaos!

The hen party then ended their impromptu interview by chanting “BBC! BBC!”
Walker himself later tweeted, saying it might be his “favourite interview ever”.
I think this might be favourite ever interview. Couldn't resist inviting her over 🙂 #Maria https://t.co/sXnyhJwqIc
