There are some other dates you should stay away from too, such as 'special number days'. For example the 9th of September 1999 would be 9/9/99 or the 1st of February 2003 which would be 1/2/03.
They may seem like significant dates and easy ones to remember but apparently, they are a big no-go if you want to be together forever.
From the million couples surveyed, by the five-year mark, 11 percent of those who got married on Valentine's day were divorced, by the 9-year mark 21 percent of couples we divorced.
For the 'special number' dates it was slightly less misfortunate with 10 percent of couples splitting up after 5 years and 19 percent after the 9 years.
The researchers suggest that the possible reason behind this is that the couple focus on planning the perfect day on the perfect romantic date more than they do on their life together.
