A mixed bag.
Today’s weather is noticeably duller in some parts of the country and thundery showers are forecast for “Leinster and the Northwest later today”.
You’re probably wondering what the story is for the rest of the week and to be fair, there is both good and bad news.
Although temperatures will remain warm for most of the week, 25 degrees in places, there is a risk of heavy showers.
However, the humidity will lessen on Thursday and instead, “a spell of persistent rain is likely”.
According to Met Éireann, the rain is likely to spread “countrywide” on Thursday night.
Friday is to be “fresh” so no more muggy weather but this also means that showery rain and light winds are on the cards too.
For next weekend and next week then, early indications suggest changeable, unsettled weather.
Standard really.
