Not that we’ve anything to hide…
But it’s always handy to know right?
With the way technology is going these days (firmly places ‘auld wan’ cap on head), it’s kind of freaky how search engines can basically keep tabs on your every move.
From Google predicting what you are going to search, to Facebook showing up ads for holidays TWO SECONDS after you Google ‘last minute deals to the sun’, it’s very much a case of Big Brother is watching you.
Last week, we had a look at the thoughts we all have when we go creeping on ex boyfriends, or indeed new crushes, on Facebook before, horror of horrors, we realized that this would now appear in the Facebook search bar every time we typed the first letter of their name in again.
How awkward would that be if they found out?
Not to worry though folks, as the lovely lads at JOE.ie have figured out how to delete your Facebook history… Though we’re not entirely sure what made them discover this in the first place…
Moving swiftly on, here’s how you get rid of those pesky searches in just a few quick steps.
First, click on the Facebook search bar, where a drop down menu will appear. In the right hand corner of this menu will be an option to ‘Edit’.
Click on that, and once you do, a list of your searches will appear and simply click the button ‘Clear Searches’ or if you don’t want to remove them all, you can do them one by one.
Simples.
