The books depicting the hilarious and sometimes awkward life of poor Bridget Jones have been incredibly popular with fans, even more so when they were made into feature films.
The title for the third book in the series has just been announced today. Mad about the Boy will follow in the footsteps of Bridget Jones’s Diary and its sequel The Edge of Reason, the latter of which was released some fourteen years ago.
The third book in the series will be released on October 10th, according to the Irish Examiner, who also published an extract from the book.

Bridget writes after sending a text message: “You see, this is the trouble with the modern world. If it was the days of letter-writing, I would never even have started to find his address, a pen, a piece of paper, an envelope, a stamp and gone outside at 11.30pm to find a postbox.
“A text is gone at the brush of a fingertip, like a nuclear bomb or Exocet missile. Dating Rule No 1: Do not text when drunk.”
Jonathan Cape publishing director Dan Franklin said: “As a comic writer, Helen is without equal. Over 15 years ago she gave a voice to a generation of young women with the original Bridget book.”
Does this mean we may also see the return of a certain Mr. Firth?

I’m a 35-year-old in HR, earning €26k, and this was my biggest financial mistake Let’s be honest, most of us are at least a little bit nosy when it comes to money. We want to know what other people are earning, how they’re actually getting by, and what their spending really looks like (not the […]
