The critically acclaimed series, The Savage Eye, returns for a fourth series on RTÉ Two this May. For those who can’t wait to get a fresh dose of Publican Mick ‘The Bull’ Daly, The Politicians, the trusty Garda trainees and witness new character ‘Angry Emer’ in action, the first episode of the brand new series will premiere on RTÉ Player tonight, Monday 28th April, a week before it airs on RTÉ Two on Monday, 5th May. Now in its fourth series, The Savage Eye returns with a satirical and often surreal examination of subjects close to the hearts of the Irish people. Back on screens this year is many of the much loved and familiar characters, with each episode showcasing new sketches that are truly unique. Series Four of will feature six episodes and topics to be explored this year include Childhood, The Universe, Animals, Love, Death and War.
