Up, up and away! To celebrate their 5th anniversary, The Immigration Agency based in Dublin put together a special survey focusing on Irish people emigrating to Australia.
The survey discovered that when it comes to deciding whether to make the big move down under, 85 percent of the participants said they would “happily” leave with 58 percent admitting that they felt there were better job opportunities for them in Oz.
"We are seeing more and more families and couples make the move to Australia” said CEO of The Immigration Agency, Mege Dalton.
“A lot of these people are employed, have kids in school and own property. They tell me they want to make the move for a better lifestyle and better opportunities for themselves and their children."
But which of the Aussie cities are most preferable to head to?
"For our young single clients, who made up nearly 50% of our survey, Sydney is still the city of choice" said agency owner and business partner John Dalton.

The participants were also asked what one thing they’d love to bring to with them abroad. The most popular answer was of course the beloved mobile with laptops and iPads coming in at a close second. Barry's Tea, Cadbury’s and Supermacs also made an appearance on the list!
We’d definitely be the in the group of people who'd be lost without our phones for sure! You can find out more about The Immigration Agency by clicking onto their website here.

I’m a 35-year-old in HR, earning €26k, and this was my biggest financial mistake Let’s be honest, most of us are at least a little bit nosy when it comes to money. We want to know what other people are earning, how they’re actually getting by, and what their spending really looks like (not the […]
