Are you a mobile phone addict? Do you find yourself constantly charging your handset because you use it so much? Well, Nokia may just have the thing for you: a phone that costs €15 and only needs to be charged once a month. People, welcome to the future.
The Irish Independent reports that Nokia unveiled the unique phone today in a bid to try and conquer the cheap end of the mobile phone market.
The 105 phone is small, sleek and an absolute bargain at €15. It comes with an FM radio and a torch and Nokia have said that it could be the perfect phone for people living in areas where electricity is in short supply.
It has a colour screen and the battery is expected to last a full month (that’s four whole weeks!) without having to be charged.

As well as putting an end to the dreaded low-battery panic that sets in as soon as you hear the dull warning beep, the phone is also built like a rock. We imagine it will combine the sturdiness of the good old Nokia 3210 with a fashionable, yet basic design.
We don’t know about you but we think it’s a pretty nifty idea, although we imagine Nokia will find it hard to win over the smartphone/blackberry crowds. Although the fact that you hardly ever have to charge it could be a major draw…
