The self-proclaimed ‘King’ is moving to a new kingdom…

Dublin radio station 98FM has just announced that Ray Foley will present their new breakfast show, starting this November.

Foley current heads up national station Today FM’s lunchtime radio offering, as well as presenting dating show ‘Take Me Out’ on TV3.

No likey, no lighty: The jock also presents ‘Take Me Out’ on TV3

According to a statement posted on the 98FM website this afternoon, co-presenter JP will also be joining the jock on his new shift.

Ray said of the move; “Like everyone else in Dublin, I can’t believe 98FM are giving me and JP the breakfast show! This show has been a dream of mine ever since I was a newsreader on 98FM a decade ago. I’ll miss my mates in Today FM but this prospect was just too tempting to turn down. Dublin is in for a rude awakening!”

Love him or hate him, there’s no denying Foley gets people talking. Will you be tuning in to the show?
