One mother-of-three is looking at a brighter future today after an anonymous well-wisher gave her the gift of a lifetime.
Jessie Bruton was left paralysed after the birth of her third child. She suffered nerve damage while pregnant with her son Klay, born six months ago.
The 27-year-old previously worked as a fitness instructor, and now faces the daunting task of learning to walk again.
Her plight was made somewhat easier recently though, with an incredible gesture from a mystery benefactor.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Bruton recently returned from a family outing to find a specially modified Nissan Pathfinder, fitted with hand controls, on her front lawn. The car was wrapped in a big red bow.
Jessie passed her disability driving test this week and on Tuesday drove herself to a rehabilitation session.
Speaking to the paper, she said: “It was just incredible to get home and see the car parked there with a red bow and a lovely card saying they hoped it would help my family out, and make me smile.”
“The card had no name on it and at first I wanted to find out who it was from so I could thank them, but then realised that they wanted to remain anonymous.”
“It’s really lovely to know there are people in this world who are willing to give something without receiving any recognition.”
