Everyone was touched by Brian O’Sullivan’s magnificent tribute to his late friend Ger Foley, who passed away aged 45 from cystic fibrosis complications.
He led a Killorglin pub in a rousing rendition of Mr. Brightside that got lots of people very emotional.
The video was massively popular, so much so that word actually reached the Killers themselves, who tweeted a lovely message of support for Brian(spotted by our eagle-eyed JOE.ie brethren), praising his performance and noting he would be a good stand-in if Brandon Flowers was ever out of action.
How sound of them.
