Sky News anchor Kay Burley has been in Paris reporting on the deadly terror attacks that took place on Friday night and a tweet sent from her account has prompted criticism.
This morning, the reporter posted a photo of a golden retriever dog with the caption “sadness in his eyes” and the hashtag #ParisAttacks.

Social media users have accused her of insensitivity for posting such a tweet two days after the tragic attacks which killed 129 people and injured 350.
People have responded to the image using the hashtag #sadnessinhiseyes which is now trending on Twitter.
It is important to note that internet users aren’t making light of Friday night’s tragic events but the manner in which Kay has approached the situation.

She later tweeted “Only one thing worse than being talked about…” which appears to be a response to the criticism she received.
