How stunning are these?

Listen, as we edge closer to Christmas, we’re all kind of on the lookout for special gifts for special people.

When it comes to Christmas presents, I tend to try to think outside the box, and get something with meaning.

And lads, I have found the perfect gift, not just for Christmas, but for pretty much any occasion.

Say hello to The High Press, an Irish run business that is producing handmade custom illustrations and artworks, using Giclée printing.

I can’t describe how wonderful they are.

So naturally, I wanted to catch up with the lovely Ger Sloyan, who is the wonder woman behind The High Press.

“I draw each custom portrait or illustration based on your favourite photograph and it is then printed on the highest quality Hahnemuhle 285 – 310gsm paper.”

“They are available in A4 and A3 as standard, however custom sizes can be catered for. They make the perfect wedding, anniversary, new baby or just a whenever gift!”

“Delivery is free and in the interest of the environment and speedy delivery, I use local printers and local postal services. So whether you order in Ireland, Australia, USA or anywhere else in the world, printing and delivery is localised.”

How nice is that?

And what makes these babies even more special, is they’re built to last.

This is my Dad, Tom and a pony. They’re conspiring against us, I can tell.

Ger explained:

“Giclée printing is also known as fine art or archival pigment printing. There are a number of factors that make giclée printing such a great option: quality, longevity and accuracy.”

“In fact, giclée prints are thought to last up to two hundred years before starting to fade. In short, they are built to last. So, if you have a photo that you love and would like to create a bit of history for future generations of your family, a fine art giclée print is the perfect heirloom!”

We really just adore that idea. So special.
