Friday eases us in to it, with some spells of bright sunshine and temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees.
Moving on to Saturday and despite some sunny spells, there will be showers in the south and west of the country.
These showers will become more frequent and indeed heavier as Saturday night rolls in, particularly in southern and western coastal counties.
The remainder of the country looks to be getting away unscathed, that is until Sunday morning when rain will become widespread and will be heavy in many places.
