A likely story!
April Fools’ Day is well and truly underway and with so many stories floating about cyberspace these days, it’s hard to know what to believe.
In case you missed them, here’s some of our favourites so far today – did you get taken in by any of them?

Bye bye Spire
Reports today stated that the government are planning to temporarily remove the Spire from the middle of O’Connell Street for the 1916 centenary next year. It was stated that they will spend a whopping €500,000 doing it and they were planning to house it in an aircraft hangar for two weeks.
Supermacs name change
Supermacs were said to be changing their name to McDonagh’s.
“A changed menu and name will also help McDonagh’s with its expansion abroad,” read the press release.
One Direction have a new member
One Direction were said to have a brand new member this morning in the form of former Take That star, Jason Orange. The singer was quoted as saying he was looking forward to the new direction and that he didn’t forsee any trouble in joining the group.
Cycle for cash
According to Twitter, Santander UK were set to open their first ever cycle-through branch.

Kim has a new trainer
Kim Kardashian was said to have a new personal trainer today in the form of Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison.

Jeremey Clarkson is said to be releasing a hip hop album.
If it’s true – we’ll be first in line to buy it.
