Haley O'Sullivan was crowned Rose Of Tralee.
The 25-year-old, who is a marketing coordinator for an industrial chemical company, gladly accepted the tiara from 2012 winner Nicola McEvoy.
After winning she said: “Everyone was so fabulous, I can’t believe this is happening.”
Her parents looked on proudly from the crowd.
Haley, who was cheered on by her parents and Monaghan boyfriend Davey, has a number of Irish connections.
Her grandfather was raised off the coast of County Cork while her grandmother’s parents were from Cork and Longford.
