Texas Rose Takes Rose Of Tralee 2013 Title

It’s time to wave goodbye to Dáithí Ó Sé and co because the Rose Of Tralee is over for another year! That’s right, this year’s Rose Of Tralee crown has been decided and this year it went to Texas Rose Haley O’Sullivan. Haley O'Sullivan was crowned Rose Of Tralee. The 25-year-old, who is a marketing coordinator for an industrial chemical company, gladly accepted the tiara from 2012 winner Nicola McEvoy. After winning she said: “Everyone was so fabulous, I can’t believe this is happening.” Her parents looked on proudly from the crowd. Haley, who was cheered on by her parents and Monaghan boyfriend Davey, has a number of Irish connections. Her grandfather was raised off the coast of County Cork while her grandmother’s parents were from Cork and Longford.
