If you love all things Christmas, and dread spending eight hours a day in a decoration-free office, this might just be the ultimate job for you.
While most of us despair at the sight of tangled lights, some people see the challenge as one of the key steps to setting up for Christmas.
So what skills are required for the coveted position?
As well as being genuinely passionate about Christmas and having good people skills, the candidate needs to have “the ability to untangle a set of Christmas lights in under three minutes”.

The full-time position is being advertised for Wrexham, Wales, and aims to help local customers ease into the bustle of the festive season with one less stress.
While customers do their weekly shop, it will be the job of the Christmas light detangler to free their decorations from every twist and knot, check for any broken bulbs and note any signs of breakage.
Speaking to The Mirror, a Tesco spokeswoman said:
“To help locals enjoy the festive season and relieve some of the stresses often associated with the Yuletide season, specifically, tangled tree lights Tesco has launched a search for someone who can conquer one of the most frustrating jobs of Christmas.
“The successful applicant will work full time in the lead up to Christmas, showing that “Every Little Helps”, lending their nimble fingers to customers while they shop.

If someone could bring this service to Ireland, we’d be eternally grateful.
