He then continued to send messages, detailing how he was going to take his own life and that she would find him hanging outside her bedroom window.

According to The Daily Mail, police reports suggest that Ravenscroft broke into the premises while her Mum was at home.

After receiving the disturbing texts from Kyle, the teenager chose to sleep in her mother’s room for security, and it is believed it was at this point that the young man then hid under bed.

The young woman’s legal representative, Rob Youd, told the court she checked the area after noticing that all her shoe boxes, which were normally neatly lined-up under her bed, had been moved.

After making the discovery the teen asked, “What are you doing under my bed?” His response was that he had been asleep.

The girl’s mother entered the room and demanded Kyle to leave, it was at this point that he fled the scene – not before stealing the girl’s mobile phone.

Police confirmed that Kyle had no previous convictions however believe that he went through the phone to “discover personal details about her life”.

Chester Magistrates Court noted that the incident was “frightening” and “psychologically harming” to the girl.
