Terminally Ill Man Marries Girlfriend Then Spends The Next Six Months Making Her Dreams Come True

We have seen a lot of stories that really break our hearts but this one just really made us want to weep, particularly due to the lengths this man went to in order to make his new wife happy. At just 26 years of age, Chris Price was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus in April of 2012, was given the all clear but then discovered that he the cancer was back in April of 2013. According to the Daily Mail, Chris proposed to his girlfriend, Ceri, with just six months to live. In the time they spent together, Chris went out of his way to make sure that all of Ceri's dreams came true. Following their wedding, Chris brought his new wife and her four children to Disneyland in Paris. He also whisked her away for a weekend in New York. On top of that, he bought her presents he knew she would love like a pair of Louboutin shoes and a Mulberry handbag. Chris died in Ceri's arms in January of 2014 and his funeral was held in the church where the pair got married. Heartbroken Ceri said: 'It was as if Chris wanted to spend his last days making me as happy as he could. We did such a lot in those last six months." 'He was so positive he never talked about dying, he just wanted to see me and the children happy in the time he had left.' Images via the Daily Mail.
