Ten Reasons January Is The Worst Month

Christmas is over, so is the wonder that is New Year's Eve and now you are suddenly staring down the barrel of January. It isn't exactly the greatest month in the year. Here are ten reasons why... 1. Because NOTHING happens. Honestly, nothing happens for the entire month. Mainly because of the hangover from December. 2. You've given up the drink. Christmas was such a tough time of the year that you are now spending the entire month off the booze. It's not fun. It's not fun at all. 3. You've also given up food. Well, you helped yourself to pretty much everything over the Christmas so now you have to cut down on all the treats. This is also not fun. 4. Speaking of treats. All of your favourites that come into the shops for Christmas are now gone and you won't be able to get a hold of them until December. This is pretty devastating. No Caffrey's Snowballs. 5. You have NOTHING to look forward to... You have nothing to look forward to until at least the summer. Then you can look forward to Christmas again. But right now? There is nothing to look forward to. 6. You're broke. You have spent all of your money on drink and presents and must now live the entire month of January on pot noodle. 7. The Christmas Decorations come down. Suddenly everything looks exceptionally boring and dull of a sudden. There are no lights and Christmas trees anywhere. Basically, January has taken away all the joy. 8. Everyone goes home. There were a lot of people home for Christmas, everyone got together and had a few laughs. Now though? Everyone's gone home. You're broke... and now lonely. 9. It's bloody cold. You can say what you like but January is actually colder than December. 10. Christmas is as far away as possible. There will no presents, no lights, decorations, joy or anything for another ten months. Christmas is as far away as is possibly could be.
