5. You have NOTHING to look forward to...
You have nothing to look forward to until at least the summer. Then you can look forward to Christmas again. But right now? There is nothing to look forward to.
6. You're broke.
You have spent all of your money on drink and presents and must now live the entire month of January on pot noodle.
7. The Christmas Decorations come down.
Suddenly everything looks exceptionally boring and dull of a sudden. There are no lights and Christmas trees anywhere. Basically, January has taken away all the joy.
8. Everyone goes home.
There were a lot of people home for Christmas, everyone got together and had a few laughs. Now though? Everyone's gone home. You're broke... and now lonely.
9. It's bloody cold.
You can say what you like but January is actually colder than December.
10. Christmas is as far away as possible.
There will no presents, no lights, decorations, joy or anything for another ten months. Christmas is as far away as is possibly could be.Life
