Get the sunglasses and sandals out people!

The weather in recent weeks has been, quite frankly, ridiculous. Not only has it been unpredictable but it’s WAY too cold for May (even in Ireland).

But this week we are apparently going to see a tiny glimpse of that Leaving Cert weather we all know and love.

According to Met Éireann, today is expected to be cloudy but mainly dry with sunny spells and temperatures up to 16 degrees Celsius. However this afternoon will see an occasional shower.

Tomorrow will bring more sunshine and even higher temperatures, between 14 and 17 degrees Celsius.

As the week progresses temperatures will rise, reaching up to 20 or 21 degrees Celsius in western parts.

Overall this week is supposed to be settled and rather pleasant. It’s not much but we’ll take it!
