Talk Shows, Turtles and Toys, Toys, Toys: The Best of Tonight’s TV

From a Christmas favourite to the weekly regulars, there's plenty on the small screen to make your Friday night a good one!

We reckon there’s one programme on this list that will get everyone’s vote but just in case, there are also a few other shows that are worth watching this evening…

Attenborough – BBC Two (9.00pm)

In the last of the series David Attenborough reflects on the changes that have taken place during his filmmaking career and talks about the potential future of the world based on current attitudes towards it.

The Late Late Toy Show – RTÉ One (9.35pm)

If we were putting money on what you’re going to be watching this evening, this would probably be the programme we’d choose. Ryan Tubridy is joined by children and special guests as he looks at the best of this year’s Christmas toys and gadgets.

Alan Carr: Chatty Man – Channel 4 (10.10pm)

Comedian Kevin Bridges, X Factor presenter Dermot O’Leary and funny man David Walliams will be joining Alan tonight for lots of laughs and plenty of chat. Rock band Lawson are also due to perform.

The Graham Norton Show – BBC One (10.35pm)

Graham will be busy this evening as he speaks to Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal, comedienne Joan Rivers and Top Gear stars Jeremy Clarkson and James May. Singer Ke$ha will also be providing the music.

The 40 Year Old Virgin – ITV2 (11.30pm)

It’s one of those comedies that we could watch over and over again. Steve Carell plays a 40-year-old who is yet to lose his virginity. When his co-workers find out this fact, they try to help him land his first conquest.
