The Saturday Night Live show has always raked in quality scriptwriting pieces so it saddened us to hear that long-time cast member Jason Sudeikis was leaving the comedy staple.
The actor and comedian confirmed that he was leaving on this Wednesday’s The Late Show with David Letterman.
"I'm definitely done," Sudeikis told Letterman. "I'm not coming back next fall."
Jason’s parting ways with the NBC show after 10 years with the gang. He became one of the cast’s featured performers back in 2005. His most popular impersonations include Joe Biden, Mitt Romney, Jason Mraz and even Miley Cyrus.
We doubt that Sudeikis’ departure is a welcome one and this would definitely come as a blow to the SNL producers who will also be saying goodbye to Fred Armisen and Bill Hader.
Sudeikis is currently starring in the comedy flick “We're the Millers” with Jennifer Aniston. You can watch his full interview with David Letterman below:
