Survey Shows Just How Sexually Active the Irish Are

The 'Dulux Irish Sex Survey' has unearthed some rather interesting facts about the sexual activities of the Irish. It's a wonder anybody gets anything done really.

It has been revealed that Irish couples have sex almost 100 times a year which is twice as much as those across the water.

The ‘Dulux Irish Sex Survey,’ conducted by Red C, interviewed 871 Irish couples altogether. They found that Irish couples do it on average eight times a month which amounts to 96 times a year.

In contrast those in the UK are only having half the amount of sex with an average of 42 times a year.

Out of the Irish couples questioned, over 20 per cent were jumping under the covers ten times a month.

Cork turned out to be the most sexually active county in the country with Dublin coming in a close second.

Findings also found that men have more sex than women although considering one needs the other, this could just be a large group of egos talking.

The survey goes hand in hand with Dulux’s new programme, ‘Bedroom Improvement by Dulux,’ which aims to liven up the room in which the magic happens.

Head of Marketing at Dulux Ann Marie O’Riordan highlights how important surroundings are to your relationship and sex life.
