Turns out this weekend could be your last chance to soak up the sun, whip out the barbeque and go out without your umbrella.
According to weather reports today, this weekend is supposed to be mostly dry, bright and warm. I know, we can’t believe it either! As everybody is well aware, we've had an unpredictable and very wet summer.
Despite this forecasters are saying that temperatures are to reach 22°C in parts of the country today with spells of sunshine. Better still, it’s to last pretty much all weekend.
Vincent O’Shea from Met Éireann told the Irish Sun it looks good for anyone who has plans but especially those heading to Croke Park tomorrow for the final of the All-Ireland Hurling Championship.

The final of the All-Ireland Hurling Championships is at Croke Park tomorrow.
He said, ‘The first half of Sunday will be nicer in Dublin so it should be dry enough in Croke Park until the matches are over.’
However as with every piece of good news, came the not so good news that on Tuesday the Autumnal weather will set in.
‘The amounts of rain won’t be large, but it’ll be cloudier, breezier and cooler – much more typical for this time of year,’ O’Shea explained.
But you never do know in Ireland. After all we did have sunshine in March and rain in July!
