Irish Landmark Trust have announced that five beautiful lighthouse properties in Ireland will now be available for the public to enjoy as short-term holiday accommodation. The announcement marks the enhancement of an existing partnership between Irish Landmark and The Commissioners of Irish Lights, which had already seen six lighthouse properties given a sustainable new use and purpose. The lighthouse properties now available as short-term accommodation include two houses each at St John’s Point in Down and St John’s Point in Donegal and a third property at Irish Landmark’s existing site at Blackhead in Antrim. Speaking at the launch on Thursday, Mary O Brien, CEO of Irish Landmark said: “We are delighted to add these wonderful properties to our collection of historic holiday homes throughout the country. “Irish Landmark is proud to celebrate our longstanding partnership with The Commissioners of Irish Lights and delighted that the public can now enjoy more of these wonderful properties in such stunning locations.
