In the long list of petty, divisive things that can make a couple argue or even split up, the number one item that people choose over their relationship has been revealed and it's pretty surprising.
As part of a study carried out by YouGov, people admitted that they'd rather move away for their partner, stop smoking, quit drinking or even leave their job than stop eating MEAT. Seriously?
As part of a study done on 1,652 people, 62% of subjects confessed that they'd be unwilling to go vegetarian for their partner, with a measly 24% saying they'd quit meat if it meant that much to their other half.
Under the study carried out, 13% of people said they wouldn't move house for their husband or wife, 18% said they wouldn't stop smoking, 28% said they wouldn't move abroad for their other half and 40% said they wouldn't stop drinking to save their relationship.
While the survey was carried out in the UK, we can't help but wonder what the percentage of Irish people who'd give up meat for their partner would be.
I can't imagine any of the Mammies I know being too pleased at hearing the word vegetarian...
Moral of the story? Stay single forever and ever...Would you stop eating meat for your other half?

‘I’m a 35-year-old in HR, earning €26k, and this was my biggest financial mistake’
I’m a 35-year-old in HR, earning €26k, and this was my biggest financial mistake Let’s be honest, most of us are at least a little bit nosy when it comes to money. We want to know what other people are earning, how they’re actually getting by, and what their spending really looks like (not the […]
