"Girl I Wanna Make You Sweat..."
It’s all well and good for Inner Circle to sing it, but this infographic from Sure out lines when Irish women feel the heat and sweat the most, whether we want to or not.
Stress was the thing that got most Irish women hot and bothered, while we also felt the glow ahead of a first date and a job interview. Seems as though shopping’s not all it’s cracked up to be either, with 15.7 per cent of women claiming it was a trawl through the shops that made them sweat the most.
Just over half of us carry our anti-perspirant around in our bags with us, and almost half of Irish women claimed to be ‘normal sweaters’, with 34.6 per cent claiming to be light sweaters and 17.5 per cent feeling they got a heavier than average deal when it comes to perspiration.
A whopping 61.2 per cent of us have felt embarrassed by sweat, with Dublin and Cork ladies most likely to sweat when stressed. Those old romantics in Longford and Kilkenny were most likely to sweat heavily on a first date, (the nerves will get you there alright), while Galwegians came prepared, with 67 per cent carrying a trusty anti-perspirant around with them at all times.
