Storm Doris has damaged a famous Game of Thrones location

Not the dark hedges!

Storm Doris caused a lot of damage yesterday and it seems like every inch of the country felt the impact. One of the areas affected by the high winds was the north-east, in particular the Dark Hedges, which featured in Games of Thrones.

The Dark Hedges loses another tree The Dark hedges or Kings road in Westeros was hit by Storm Doris last night and as a result has lost another of its trees. The trees were shown in the early series when Arya is travelling with her captors. The tall trees, which meet in the middle of the road to form an eerie passageway, are very popular with tourists and fans of Game of Thrones. We even took a spin up there last year to see them for ourselves.
