It’s Ireland versus the storm and it’s not going well.
Storm Barney has been causing absolute havoc in Ireland since yesterday evening, and with heavy rain and high winds again this morning, things have not got much better.
The ESB have been out since the crack of dawn trying to fix power outages nationwide, while there has been a number of travel disruptions across the country.
Motorists are being advised to take extra care on the roads today.
