The debs. A wonderful night where you most likely wore a ball gown for the first time, caught a limo with your mates, let a poor young lad shaking with fear pin a corsage on to you and kept your parents awake until dawn, worried sick about you.
It was a magical time.
Looking back, certain members of Team Her.ie wonder if the tiara was really a good idea, or if perhaps that yellow corset was the most flattering choice. But on the night, chances are you felt drop dead gorgeous.
So, we can only imagine the excitement many young debutants across the country were feeling with the news that DebsIreland.com are running a competition, in association with Assets Model Agency, for this year’s Best Dressed Debutante. Their Facebook page is littered with smiling would-be beauty queens posing up a storm for the cameras, but we're sorry to say that even though the competition runs until November, it’s already been won in our eyes.
Timothy and Robert Sweeney from Balbriggan, take a bow. We cannot wait to see you on the books at Assets.
