Well, we all know what we are going to be doing with our weekend. We’ll be packing up the entire family into the back of a wagon, putting on those Stetsons and dungarees and heading off to Wicklow to go a-looking for some gold…
A review of an area in County Wicklow has returned quite the find. IMC Exploration have confirmed that Kilmacoo, Avoca in South Co. Wicklow contains near-mine opportunities for economic gold and also lead-zinc mineralization. The review has also confirmed there is serious potential for exploration success.
Dr Glenn Millar, Managing Director IMC, commented “At Kilmacoo, on our Avoca licence area, 15,000 ozs of gold have already been identified. IMC is confident that our focus on exploration on this, and our nearby gold licence areas, will realise the full potential of these resources.”
Avoca in Co. Wicklow. You can expect us soon…
The project was completed by independent consultant Dr. W.A. Sheppard, who has more than 25 years international experience in gold and base metal deposits and explorations.
IMC will now focus on drilling the target area and identifying other areas to begin working on.
So saddle up, we’re off to Avoca…
