Would you like your Guinness tall, grande or venti?
Experience tells us that the combination of coffee and alcohol can be quite tasty, (see the Irish coffee and Bailey’s coffee for more), but we’re not quite sure about Starbucks’ latest venture.
The coffee chain’s newest product might find an audience in Ireland, given that it’s a latte that tastes like Guinness.
The Dark Barrel Latte is made with a flavored syrup that tastes like a dark stout beer. The creamy drink is topped with whipped cream and dark caramel sauce.
You don’t have to worry about getting too much of a morning ‘kick’ though, while the coffee tastes like beer, there is no actual alcohol included.
Currently, the flavoured coffee drink is only available in limited Starbucks locations while the company tests the beverage’s popularity.
