Starbucks baristas set up support groups for the return of the PSL

It may still only be August but the pumpkin slice lattes are on their way.

It seems like every year they arrive sooner than the year before, and with them come the hoards of gals just dying to taste that first sip of PSL goodness. And who are we to judge? They are fairly unreal. This year, Starbucks baristas are getting ready for the return of the pumpkin spice latte earlier than ever before. Already, the elusive PSL syrup has started arriving in branches around the US, telling employees one thing and one thing only - Autumn is coming. To help each other cope with another season of pumpkin spice madness, baristas are taking to Reddit to share their fears, anxieties, and in a few rare cases, their hopes. Reddit user 'AppKerman' kicked things off with a photo of a giant 1.86 litre tub of 'Starbucks pumpkin spice flavoured sauce' that appears to be sitting in a press of some kind.

The barista captioned the photo "It's coming. God help us all." Other employees were quick to react. One user echoed AppKerman's sentiments, saying: "August 11th, 2017 1:09pm EST Pumpkin spice logged and confirmed. Halloween is 81 days away, Thanksgiving is 104. Why is this here so early..." However, some others seemed pretty excited about the return of everyone's favourite (and most basic) Autumn drink. 'JinanReddit' said that they "like the taste" before supposing that they were "just a basic bitch." Another barista said that they preferred Starbucks in Autumn and Winter because they didn't have to make "...frappuccinos with their 5 million steps and components." Others... weren't so delighted.

However you feel about the PSL, it's here to stay, for at least the Autumn months anyway. And so is this incredible chalk creation. It did take five hours to draw, after all.
