There are so many foods out there that deserve the credit for being versatile and go beyond the mistaken boundaries of frying, baking and boiling.

Chicken is renowned for being used for all sorts of delectable snacks and treats, but have you ever thought about the other ways you can utilise its goodness?

In this feature, we’re looking at some alternative ways to cook, prepare and eat popular foods from across the globe. From unusual dishes to simple classics, here are seven ways with chicken:

1. Chicken and Broccoli Bake

When it’s cold outside there’s nothing better than some simple, delicious comfort food. This recipe will make a bake that’s large enough to serve four people, so it’s perfect if you’re planning any impromptu weekend.

Looking for a family meal that’s full of flavour? This delicious recipe for chicken and citrus yoghurt marinade is bursting full of tasty goodness.

3. Roast Chicken Curry

Roasting the chicken makes a big difference to the sauce and using the whole chicken as opposed to just the breasts makes for an extra tasty curry. The chicken can even be roasted the night before! Although time consuming, this method is worth it. This recipe feeds around six to seven people.
